AGI Atlanta Helps Operation Smile Give the Gift of a Smile

The AGI Atlanta team believes in the importance of helping others. The team held a fundraising event this past month to help collect money in support of the Operation Smile organization; a children’s medical charity that provides cleft lip and palate repair surgeries to children worldwide.

The entire AGI Atlanta team participated in this event allowing them the opportunity to get involved in the community and help make great things happen. This was a public event. The team had 50 plus people who participated, several offices in the Atlanta area plus the assistant managers who attended AGI Atlanta’s Assistant Managers Training Program earlier that day.

While AGI Atlanta has had other fundraising events held in the past to contribute to Operation Smile, this is the first time the AGI Atlanta team hosted a game night. Some of the games played at the event included Cornhole, Poker, Pool, Tennis Table, Darts, Shuffle Board, among others.

The team had a great opportunity to create awareness on what this organization does for children in need and also had the opportunity to show others how they can help as well. The AGI Atlanta team raised over $500 dollars that night! The entire team felt proud of what was accomplished and cannot wait to help again.

Brandie Park, AGI Atlanta’s CEO stated, “We loved the involvement from our people as well as other offices in the Atlanta area. It was a fun way to raise money for a good cause and we are excited to host another event soon.”
